Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to issue directions to appoint an Administrator to administer the 2nd respondent association for a limited time frame fixed by this Court to enable necessary amendments to be democratically and widely representatively carried out to the Memorandum of Association and Rules of the 2nd respondent Association in line with the Hon'ble Justice (Retd.) R.M.Lodha Committee Report submitted pursuant to the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the affairs of the 1st respondent.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner seeks appointment of an Administrator in respect of respondent no.2, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, to enable necessary amendment to be made to give a more democratic structure in line with the recommendations of Justice Lodha Committee.

2.The issues arising from the recommendations of Justice Lodha Committee are before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. The matter is still being examined. The endeavour of the petitioner seems to be to disturb the present administration through a process of a writ under Article 226 of the Constitution of India rather than under the bye-laws of the Society. We cannot permit the same. As to what will be the fate of the overall structure of the Cricketing Associations, it appears would be determined by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

3.We are not inclined to entertain the present writ petition at this stage as to the structure of cricket administration. 4.Writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.18612 of 2016 is also dismissed.
