The learned counsel for the Appellant Mr.S.Arun Kumar, Mrs.Ramya V. Rao, learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3 are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both the parties and their respective counsel are present. 2.This appeal has been filed by M/s.HDFC ERGO General Insurance Co. Ltd., as against the award passed by the Tribunal dated 11.03.2024 passed in M.C.O.P.No.257 of 2020.

3.The parties have now arrived at an amicable settlement, and the appellant/Insurance Company has now agreed to pay a sum of Rs.32,04,000/- (Rupees Thirty Two Laksh and Four Thousan only) in full quit to the claimants within a period of four weeks from today. 4.It is represented that the Insurance Company has deposited a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) to the credit of the MCOP.No.257 of 2020. The Insurance Company shall deposit a sum of Rs.32,04,000/- (Rupees Thirty Two Laksh and Four Thousan only) less the amount already deposited before the Tribunal, if any, within a period of four weeks from today, failing which the Insurance Company agreed to pay interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum. The said amount is agreed by respondents and are willing to apportion the total amount as per the apportionment before the Tribunal.

5. The Tribunal is directed to follow the usual mode of payment on

proper identification of the party concerned in accordance with the terms of the award without insisting on any formal permission petition.
