O R D E R

According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation dated 21.02.2014 challenging the order dated 21.10.2013 passed by the Under Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi, rejecting the request of the petitioner to sanction the post of Chief Engineer or upgrade the post of Superintending Engineer as Chief Engineer. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner. 2.A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3 in which it is stated that the petitioner has filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.3734 of 2013 to consider his representation dated 05.12.2012 and by order dated 30.07.

2013, this Court directed to consider the petitioner's representation, pursuant to which an order has been passed by the second respondent and the same was communicated to the petitioner through the Registrar, Pondicherry University. Challenging the said order, the petitioner has filed a writ petition in W.P.No.3694 of 2014 before this Court. Therefore, the present prayer in the writ petition cannot be entertained and the same is liable to be rejected.

3.In view of the above reasons stated in the counter affidavit, this Court cannot consider the prayer made by the writ petitioner in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is liable to be rejected and accordingly it is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
