O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to handover a copy of the CCTV footage recorded by the respondent Bank on 10.07.2018 between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. while withdrawing money from her Bank Account No.092710109476.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 24.09.2018, this Court passed an interim direction to keep the CCTV footage pertaining to 10.07.2018 between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in a safe custody. The said order has also been communicated to the respondent Bank.

3. Despite the service of notice and the name of the respondent Bank having been printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondent either in person or through his learned counsel.

4. Under such circumstances, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the respondent Bank to handover the CCTV footage as prayed herein to the petitioner within a period of one(1) week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
