Crl.O.P.No.14617 of 2024 T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 02.04.2024 in Crime No.302 of 2023, for the offences punishable under Sections 328, 379 of IPC on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case . He would submit that he is in jail from 02.04.2024. Hence, he prayed to grant bail to the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, petitioner made the co-passengers unconscious by giving tea and thereby petitioner looted jewels and money from the defacto complainant. He further submitted that, stolen property has been recovered, however petitioner has 19 previous cases pending against him.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, which is serious as against the public and the previous cases pending against him, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
