ORDER

Seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to register a case on the complaint dated 17.10.2013 in CSR No.164 of 2013, investigate and file a final report, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. The case of the petitioner is that after the death of his wife, his father-in-law had taken away the Bolero Car that is standing in the name of the petitioner.

3. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that this petitioner and his father-in-law appeared before the police and they have given a statement that they will settle the matter among themselves in the Village Panchayat. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also produced the letter given by the petitioner's father-in-law, which categorically stated that he will abide by the decision taken in the Panchayat and return the Bolero Car to the petitioner.
