ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of the land admeasuring to an extent of 7200 sq.ft., in S.No.114/2, 120, 127/1 and 128/2 situated at Pillaipakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

According to the petitioner, there was no sub-division of the land after his purchase and in this regard, submitted an application on 15.07.2008 to the respondent enclosing the relevant documents and also paying the fee. The respondent has sent summons in FLP/RTR No.13095/08, calling upon the petitioner to appear for enquiry along with the documents and the petitioner also appeared and thereafter, no response is forthcoming. Therefore, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondent along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said representation as well as the application submitted by the petitioner for sub-division, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the person/s concerned and pass orders within a further period of ten weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
