ORDER
By the consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed for writ of mandamus to direct the respondents, in particular, the third respondent, to consider the representation dated 11.04.2025, wherein, the petitioner had made a request for issuance of patta in respect of the property comprised in "0" Paimash Survey No.166 measuring an extent of Acres 5.00 out of 15 Acres, situated in Chennasandiram, Uliyalam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, at the outset, would submit that on perusal of the affidavit as well as the documents filed in the present writ petition, the certificate of possession issued by the Village Administrative Officer does not match with the description of the property contained in the prayer and no sanctity could be attached to the above certificate, which has been issued without authority. In any view, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that it is open to the petitioner to submit any other document to support the fact that they have valid and legal title over the property for issuance of patta in respect of the subject property. If any such documents are furnished before the appropriate authority, the same would be considered and appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, would be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the uploaded copy of the order. The same is accepted to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the present writ petition stands disposed of, permitting the petitioner to file any additional documents in support of their claim to the title over the subject property within three weeks from the date of uploading of the web-copy of this order. If any such documents are filed, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of which this order is uploaded. If no additional documents are submitted, the petitioner's representation would be considered on its own merits on the basis of the documents Page No.3 of 6
submitted within a period of eight weeks from the date of uploading of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
