Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 3rd respondents to hold enquiry with 2nd respondent on the fraudulent document No. 11399 of 2007 dated 27.06.2007 registered before 1st respondent and consequently direct the 1st respondent to cancel fraudulent document No. 11399 of 2007 as per Registration Act. By way of representation dated 18.02.2015, the 1st petitioner made a complaint to respondents 1 and 3 stating that Document No. 11399 of 2007 was a forged document registered by fraudulent method.

This complaint was directed against respondent No.2. According to the petitioners, though the complaint was acknowledged by the 3rd respondent, no enquiry was conducted. Hence, the present writ petition.

Taking note of the complaint of the 1st petitioner dated 18.02.2015, which is pending consideration before the 3rd respondent, the said authority is directed to pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioners as well as to the 2nd respondent. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
