The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Superintendent of TASMAC shop No.7436 at Narasingapuram, Attur. On 13.10.2018 the Tambampatty police registered a FIR in Cr.No.195 of 2018 under Sections 294(b), 352, 506(2) of IPC and 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, as against the petitioner and based on the complaint the petitioner was arrested and thereafter released on bail. Due to the arrest, the respondent passed a suspension order on 26.10.2018 and suspend the petitioner from 18.10.2018. Therefore, he made a representation on 06.02.2019, to revoke his suspension order. Even till date, the petitioner's representation has not been considered by the respondent. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to issue directions to the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 06.02.2019 and pass orders.
3. Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned Senior counsel appearing for the respondent conceded to the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue directions to the respondent to consider the representation dated 06.02.2019 submitted by the petitioner and pass orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
