Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 and 5 for non-submission of annual returns for renewal of the association in registeration No.137/2008 in the name and style of Tamil Nadu Promoted Post Graduate Teacher Association for the year 2015-2018 by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 08.09.2018. The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Manadmus for direction against the 1st and 2nd respondent to take action against 4th and 5th respondents for non submission of Annual Returns for renewal of the Association namely 6th respondent / Tamil Nadu Promoted Post Graduate Teacher Association.

2. Heard Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi learned Special Government Pleader and M/s.D.C.Uma learned counsel for the respondents 4 to 6.

3.The grievance of the petitioner may not be examined in detailed in view of the Counter filed on behalf of the respondents 4 to 6 which is extracted below: ''Regarding the averments in para 6 it is submitted that even though the 4th and 5th respondents were officer bearers of the association the petitioner was retaining the control over the association even after he ceased to be the president even in the year 2009 refused to hand over the records immediately. It is denied that the petitioner renewed the registration of the association every year. For the year 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 the petitioner got the registration renewed only in the year 2013. For the year 2012-2013 the petitioner got the registration renewed in the year 2014. For the year 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 the petitioner got the registration renewed in the year 2015. From the year 2012-2013 the 4th respondent was the president and the 5th respondent was the Treasurer. However, since the petitioner did not handover the records to the 4th and 5th respondents they were unable to

comply with the statutory requirements. Now the 4th and 5th respondents are in possession of all the records and they got the renewal of the registration for the years 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 on 27.06.2019.''

4.The facts stated that therein and also affirmed by Mrs. P.Rajalakshmi learned Additional Government pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. In view of the statements made above particularly that the registration has been renewed for the year 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 nothing survives with respect to the grievance of the petitioner. 5.With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands closed. No Costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
