PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ or order or orders or direction particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to upgrade the petitioners service from Assistant Section Officer to Section Officer with effect from 01.03.2014 on par with similarly placed persons considering the petitioners representation dated 22.05.2014,23.07.2015,06.05.2017,22.06.2017,20.11.2017 and 21.02.2018.

The grievances of the writ petitioners are that the scheme of upgradation extended in favour of some other persons has been denied to the writ petitioners. In this regard, the writ petitioners submitted a representation to the respondents on 20.11.2017 and on 21.02.2018. Thus, without going in to the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 21.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation and other relevant Government orders, if any, along with the order passed in the present writ petition.
