ORDER

This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2026 by defreezing the petitioner's account bearing Account No.10133103091 and IFSC Code: IDFB0080126.

On perusal of records, it is found that the petitioner was holding an account with the third respondent (Account No.10133103091). While being so, his account was freezed on account of registration of FIR in crime No.191 of 2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 r/w 120(B) of IPC on the file of the second respondent on the allegation that a huge amount of the general public was cheated by the accused. In the said FIR, though the petitioner was initially not arrayed as accused, during investigation, there were incriminating evidences against the petitioner to add him as an accused.

Accordingly, now petitioner has been arrayed as A5. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner to defreeze his account does not arise since the he is arrayed as A5. Hence, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered at present. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed. 3.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation in crime No.191 of 2024 and to file final report before the jurisdictional magistrate within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
