ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the petitioner had passed away and therefore, the present Writ petition may be dismissed as abated with a liberty to the Legal heirs of the petitioner to make a fresh application before the competent authority, seeking electricity connection, if they obtain No Objection Certificate (in short 'NOC') from the revenue officials.

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as abated with a liberty as sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner. No costs. In view of the above order being passed in this Writ petition, no further order is necessary in the implead petition filed in WMP.No.22399 of 2022 and thereby, the said miscellaneous petition is closed and consequently, the other connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 20.08.2024 skt NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No 2/4
