ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case on the complaint dated 18.03.2015 given by the petitioner and investigate the same in accordance with law and to file the final report within a time frame, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. It appears that the complainant has made allegations that the opposite party has cheated in promising to get a medical seat.

4. The learned Government Advocate submits that the enquiry is pending.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police is directed to expedite https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner and in the light of the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)], register a case if cognizable offences are made out and proceed further as expeditiously as possible.

6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
