Writ Petition No.17529 of 2023 S.S.SUNDAR , J and SUNDER MOHAN, J [Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J] This Court, vide order dated 30.06.2023, has granted ordinary leave to the life convict, from 05.07.2023 to 14.08.2023. Pursuant thereto, the life convict was released on ordinary leave with police escort.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the report of the Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Salem, dated 14.08.2023, wherein it is stated that the life convict was brought back to prison on 14.08.2023 at 05.00 p.m.
