ORDER

The writ petition is filed for the relief set out below: "directing the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 18/11/2025 regarding refixation of his seniority in the light of the Judgment in WP.No. 14410 of 2020 dated 24/08/2021 which is confirmed in W.A.No. 732/2022 dated 08/11/2023 and further confirmed by the Supreme Court in SLP (C) No.339/2024 dated 08/01/2024."

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was selected to the post of Grade II Police Constable on 01.11.1991 but, the posting order was issued only 20.10.1997 after an inordinate delay of over six years.

3. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made a representation dated 18.11.2025 to the respondent requesting to revise his seniority in the light of the Judgment in WP.No. 14410 of 2020 dated 24/08/2021 which is confirmed in W.A.No. 732/2022 dated 08/11/2023 and further confirmed by the Supreme Court in SLP (C) No.339/2024 dated 08/01/2024. Since there is no response till date for the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
