Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to issue Patta for Natham Survey No.211/1, 211/4 Pothanur Village, P.Velur Taluk, Namakkal District based on the Petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2017.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the Petitioner in her representation dated 22.06.2017 claims patta for the property on the basis of the power of attorney dated 08.12.2008 registered as document No. 497 of 2008 executed by the owner of that property, viz., Srinivasarahavan, but the patta has been sought in the name of the agent and not in the name of the owner, which cannot be granted. In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to the owner of the property to make necessary application for issuance of patta and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. No costs.
