PRAYER:This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for an issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the second respondent relating to the order in Rc. No.12486/ Con.1(1)/ 2008 dated 29.8.2012 and to quash the same and to issue consequential directions to the respondents 1 and 2 and to include the petitioner name in the C List for promotion to the Post of Inspector of Police in the light of the fact that Selection Grade in the Post of Sub Inspector of Police was already granted after the petitioner retirement and to promote the petitioner as such with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of the petitioner immediate junior with all consequential benefits and to permit him to retire from service on 31.5.2012 A.N. without any condition and with all consequential pensionary benefits. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the Tribunal for disciplinary proceedings concluded the enquiry and submitted its report. Based on the report, the punishment of cut in pension for one year was imposed by the disciplinary authority. 2.This being the factum established, the relief sought for in the present writ petition lost its relevance and no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
