Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of certiorari, calling for the record of the award passed by the second respondent in SC.No.3 of 2020-2021 dated 15.03.2022 and consequential proceedings of the third respondent vide reference No.1647/DGM(P)/AD/Z3/2023-4 dated 22.05.2024, quash the same.

ORDER

The present writ petition is filed against the surcharge order passed under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983.

2. As against the said order, the petitioner has an effective alternate remedy of filing an appeal before the Cooperative Tribunal.

3. As such, with such liberty to file an appeal, the present writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.17244 of 2024 is closed. 14.06.2024 Index : Yes/No drm
