Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass Orders, on the Appeal Petition, dated 04.02.2019, relating to Na.Ka.No.29471/2018/E1, on the file of the first respondent, preferred by the petitioner, within the time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER

The only prayer sought in this Writ Petition is a direction to the first respondent to pass order in a review proceeding filed under the Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 pending before the first respondent/DRO.

2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent made a statement on instructions that the DRO who earlier conducted an enquiry is since transferred and the successor DRO has fixed 29.01.2021 at 11.00 a.m. for enquiry. 3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.The DRO is required to issue a notice on the petitioner and the fourth respondent herein. Even if any notice is not so served, the present order itself will be treated as notice so far as the petitioner is concerned. On such enquiry, the concerned DRO is required to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of 8 weeks since the petitioner is reported to be a senior citizen in his mid 70's. The first respondent DRO is required to report compliance of the order on 09.03.2021.
