The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus upon the respondent to rectify the assessment order in CST 887606/2008-09, dated 28.08.2014, and to delete the tax demand on a turnover of Rs.2,42,83,466/- pursuant to the application, dated 21.11.2014, filed by the petitioners on 21.11.2014.

It is seen that, seeking rectification of the assessment order passed by the respondent, dated 28.08.2014, the petitioner has filed an Application, dated 21.11.2014, followed by reminder, dated 15.06.2015. Since the same evoked no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

response, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking for the aforementioned relief.

In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction issued to the respondent to consider the averments made by the petitioner with regard to the rectification of the assessment order, dated 28.08.2014, in their Application, dated 21.11.2014, and after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, necessary orders be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
