The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.83 of 2012 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has died on 23.04.2016. He has also produced a copy of the death certificate issued by the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation to that effect.

3. In view of the above, the present criminal original petition stands abated. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
