..Respondents Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned letter dated 23.09.2016 in E.31014/ASG(CH)/ADM.1/Req posting/2016-3232 issued by the 4th respondent and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to post the 1/4

petitioner in his home state.

O R D E R

The captioned writ petition has been filed challenging the communication dated 23.09.2016 issued by the fourth respondent. By the said communication, the petitioner's request for cancellation of the posting to CISF Unit NLC, Neyveli came to be rejected.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner relieved from the present unit on 30.09.2015. Therefore, this Court was not inclined to grant an interim order and notice was issued to the respondents on 09.12.2016.

3. In the light of the above, since the impugned communication has already given effect to the relief sought for, this writ petition does not survive for adjudication at present.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. 2/4
