PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the District Munsif Court, Tambaram to dispose of the Rent Control Appeal in R.C.O.P.No.6/2017. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Thiyagarajan 1/4

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that arguments of both sides were heard and the matter was posted for judgment. However, after several adjournments, the Judicial Officer has posted the matter suo moto to re-open and posted the matter for clarification. Thereafter, an I.A for appointment of Advocate Commissioner was filed and the same was returned. Again the matter is still in stage of the clarification for more than one year.

2. Taking into consideration the narrow scope of the prayer, the Rent Controller/District Munsif, Tambaram is hereby required to dispose of the R.C.O.P.No.6 of 2017 on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
