Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 23.10.2019 and consequently direct the respondents to release the property all that piece and parcel of the land comprised in Survey No.82/1B, admeasuring 1.97 acres situated at Olaipatti Village of Uttangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District from acquisition proceedings and hand over to petitioners. ORDER

The petitioners claim that their property admeasuring 1.97 acres in Survey No.82/1B at Olaipatti Village of Uttangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District has been acquired in 1994 for the benefit of SIPCOT Industrial Estate. Since the property is now lying un-utilised, the petitioners seek the respondents to return back the said property to them. For https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this purpose, they have preferred a representation dated 23.10.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3.Without getting into the merits of the allegations made, this Court now directs the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 23.10.2019, within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this, through a speaking order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
