ORDER
The petitioner appeared for physical verification for his height on 27.07.2021. During the physical verification, his height was found to be 168.5 and therefore the impugned disqualification dated 27.07.2021 has been issued to the petitioner. The petitioner claims that he is 171 cm height and he has produced certificates from Urban Primary Health Centre, Thirukalimedu, Kanchipuram and from a private laboratory wherein they have certified that the petitioner is 171 and 171.5 cms height. An order has been passed last week in some of the writ petitions, allowing the candidates like petitioner to participate in the physical verification for fresh measurement of height. But some of the candidates had not appeared due to Covid - 19 pandemic.
2.The learned counsel for the respondent stated that there is a proposal to conduct the physical measurement on 06.09.2021 and 07.09.2021.
3.The respondents are therefore directed to allow the petitioner to participate in the aforesaid physical measurement. The respondents are directed to comply with the order dated 05.02.2020 passed in W.A.Nos 8 to 12, 14 to 16, 23 and 24 of 2020.
4.This writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
