ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is only a matrimonial dispute. Earlier, he had appeared before the respondent police and the respondent police are pressurizing the petitioner to settle issue and hand over all the sridhana articles, marriage expenses and other gifts. He further submitted that the petitioner is very much interested to continue his relationship with his wife Fasheena. But the respondent police are attempting to separate them and thereby, harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's wife Fasheena had lodged a complaint on 17.06.2021, based on which CSR No.50/2021 came to be registered on the same day. Hence, the petitioner was called for enquiry. Though he appeared and promised to hand over the articles, gifts and marriage expenses, he failed to do so. petition. Further, as the complaint is of very serious in nature, it would be appropriate for the petitioner to appear for the enquiry and resolve the issue with his wife.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on 06.09.2021 and thereafter, on following hearing dates.

5. Considering the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
