(through video conference) Heard Mr. Boopalachandran, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. D. Sathyaraj, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the First Respondent to pass orders with regard to the reference of the industrial dispute covered by the conciliation failure report bearing Ref. No. Na. Ka. No. A/411/2017 dated 13.03.2018 under Section 10(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, expeditiously and within such time as stipulated by this Court. 3.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents that after filing of the Writ Petition, a Memorandum of Settlement under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, dated 01.11.2018 was entered between the Petitioner and the Third Respondent amicably resolving the disputes between them. He has produced a copy of the same through e-mail dated 30.08.2020, after sending a copy to the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner. In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
