Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to comply with the order of the first respondent dated 22.11.2011 in Case No.14180/Enquiry/C/2011 and thus render justice.

O R D E R

The relief sought for the in the present writ petition is to direct the third respondent to comply with the order of the first respondent dated 22.11.2011.

2. The petitioner-in-person appeared and made a submission that in respect of his complaint, no enquiry was conducted by the Tahsildar regarding the transfer of patta. The application filed under the Right to Information Act, in this regard, also was not responded. The Tahsildar has to conduct an enquiry and provide information to the writ petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader made a submission that the enquiry was conducted and accordingly, an order was passed on 14.11.2019, by the Tahsildar, Cheyyur. The writ petitioner has also participated in the process of enquiry, regarding the transfer of patta and the enquiry was conducted under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983.

4. In view of the fact that the second respondent, Tahsildar conducted an enquiry and passed an order in proceeding dated 14.11.2019 and the said copy of the order is served to the writ petitioner today, this Court is of an opinion that it is left open to the writ petitioner to redress his grievances, if any exists, in a manner known to law.

5. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
