ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to file a FIR in respect of the complaint dated 07.03.2015, complete the investigation and file a final report, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is seen that the complaint has been given to the Director General of Police and the Commissioner of Police and thereafter this petition has been filed for a direction to them to register the case. Under Section 154 of Cr.P.C., the complaint should be given to the Station House Officer and not to the higher officers. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh complaint before the jurisdictional Police.
