ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to initiate action on the complaint of the Petitioner dated 3.03.2015 under CSR No.231/V5PS/CSR/2015, investigate the same and file a final report before the appropriate court, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is seen that a civil case is pending in O.S.No.2173 of 2014 on the file of the learned XIV Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai in respect of the dispute between the petitioner and the proposed accused. It essentially appears to be a dispute between partners. Under such circumstances, a direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be issued to the respondent. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
