ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025.
2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the subject property bearing Door 30/25A, Ward No. 6, Block No. 7, Town Survey No. 557, measuring an extent of 1991 square feet, situated at IlamaiyaakinarKoil Street, Chidambaram Town. He would further submit that the petitioner purchased the subject property from one B.Abirami vide a registered Sale Deed dated 29.11.2004 registered as Document No.13219 of 2004. While applying for a home loan, the petitioner discovered that the 4th respondent had illegally attached the property on 25.03.2021 without prior notice, over alleged sales tax arrears due from a third party named Cinna Annamalai, who holds no right or interest in the property. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 15.12.2025 to respondents 1 to 3 requesting the removal of the said attachment. However, the said representation has not been considered to date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Mr.M.Roshan Atiq, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on
behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025 will be considered within a period of eight weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025, after issuing due notice to the petitioner as well as aggrieved parties, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
