This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 06.08.2020 wherein the petitioner has sought for electricity service connection for his bore well in order to irrigate his agricultural lands. 2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner has not made any application before the 3rd respondent seeking for electricity service connection and the petitioner has merely given a representation based on which the respondents cannot act upon. The learned standing counsel therefore submitted that the petitioner has to make a formal application seeking for electricity service connection for the bore well and the same will be considered by the 3rd respondent in accordance with law. 3.
Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit a formal application seeking for electricity service connection before the 3rd respondent. The 3rd respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law and take a decision, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of application from the petitioner. No Costs.
