The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.03.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(A) & 22 (c) of NDPS Act, in crime No.62 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. According to the case of the prosecution, the respondent Police seized 150 fort nite tablets (consisting of 41 Orange colour tablets, 100 blue colour tablets, 7 coffee colour tablets and 2 ash colour tablets), 600 gms of Ganja, 1 gram of Methaphetamine and 80 LSD Stamps totally weighing 1.25 gms from the possession of the petitioner. It is a commercial quantity.
3. That apart, the petitioner failed to satisfy the twin conditions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 15.07.2022 mpl https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
