This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the records in C.C.No.4089 of 2013 (Crime No.217 of 2013) on the file of the Learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai-1.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial has been commenced in this case and PW1 & PW2 have already been examined.

3. It is seen that trial has been commenced and two witnesses were examined and at this stage, this quash petition cannot be considered by this Court. However, considering the case is of the year 2013, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
