ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH. J,) In the present application, the convict prisoner seeks for suspension of sentence imposed on him by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri, Krishnagiri District in S.C.No.304 of 2005 dated 31.07.2015.
2. It is brought to our notice that the petitioner has made a representation seeking for premature release. Since no action was taken by the Government, he had filed W.P.No.32483 of 2024 and a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner through an order dated 20.11.2024.
3. In view of the same, the present application seeking for suspension of sentence is not warranted at this stage. However, the 2/4
petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application seeking for suspension of sentence in the event the Government rejects his representation seeking for premature release.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands disposed of.
