Respondents Writ petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu in relation to the proceedings issued in Na.Ka.No.3825/N1.A.P1/2011, dated 26.11.2012 and quash the same and issue consequential direction to the respondents to award special grade to the petitioner in the post of Athlete Coach by counting 20 years of total service or 10 years of service from the date of selection grade i.e., 01.10.1978 by excluding the period of suspension with service and monetary benefits. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has now become infructuous and hence, the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous Recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
