ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case against Kothandaraman, on the complaint dated 18.11.2014, for cheating.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is represented that the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police and on the said complaint, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.31/2015 and the petitioner is not co-operating for enquiry.

4. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and co-operate for enquiry. The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.31/2015 and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
