By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner would state that he was appointed as Sericulture Demonstrator and joined duty on 05.07.1984. Subsequently, the post of Sericulture Demonstrator was redesignated as Junior Inspector of Sericulture. In the seniority list prepared for Sericulture Inspector, the petitioner's name was placed at the serial No.1007 instead of serial No.946. Therefore, he submitted a representation dated 28.01.2015 for refixing / altering the seniority list. Since it was not considered favourably, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.R.Rengaramanujam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

4. This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

With the above said directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
