Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider and take action on the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2016.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the services of N.Thangaraj (petitioner herein) and N.Kapil Dev were engaged for taking sample survey of registered micro, small and medium enterprises to arrive at the contribution of MSMES to the Gross State Domestic Produce (GSDP) and they have successfully completed the same and they are entitled to a sum of Rs.3,00,300/- and out of the eligible amount, a sum of Rs.1,38,000/- was disbursed by way of cheque and in respect of the balance amount, despite repeated personal representation and request, the said amount has not been disbursed. The petitioner in this regard, has also submitted a representation dated 07.01.2016 to the respondents and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Gowri Shankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
