ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 24.03.2014 and 16.10.2014 respectively in accordance with law and on merits.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the writ petitioner was holding the post of BT Assistant (Maths) in the Panchayat Union Middle School, Muthugoundankottai, Dharmapuri District and on account of certain allegations, a criminal case was registered as against the writ petitioner and consequently, he was placed under suspension in proceedings dated 17.03.2011. The writ petitioner had undergone the criminal trial and was finally acquitted from the charges by the Judicial Magistrate, Court No.1, Dharmapuri dated 01.02.2014 in CC.No.48 of 2011. After the order of acquittal, the writ petitioner had submitted a representation to the respondents on 16.10.2014 and no decision is taken till date by the respondents.

In the light of the above facts and circumstances, this Court, without going into merits and demerits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by the petitioner dated 24.03.2014 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
