Prayer:- Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to remove the members of the 5th respondent union and its supporters unlawfully gathering and staging Dharma, hunger strike, shouting slogans etc., from the premises of Thirumandhurai Toll Plaza in Perumbalur District maintained by the petitioner or in its vicinity based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2020 and to provide adequate police protection for the safety, security and protection to the lives and property of the petitioner, 4th respondent, general public, management officials, staff and other workers in order to perform the petitioner's toll operations peacefully. O R D E R
Mr.N.Elumalai, the learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents submits that the strike has been withdrawn on 20.10.2020. Same stands recorded. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Even otherwise, the petitioner is only a third party the Sub Contractor of the 4th respondent and therefore, has no local standi to file this writ petition for the relief sought.
2. Accordingly, this Writ Petition filed by the petitioner is dismissed. No cost. Consequently, Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
