ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is the father of the detenu, to direct the second respondent to produce the body or person of the detenu namely Karthick, son of Balasundaram, aged about 34 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.Prima facie the investigation made in M1 Madhavaram Police Station Crime No.3562 of 2020 registered for man missing would reveal that the detenu has left the home apprehending trouble from various third parties from whom he had borrowed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

money. He was stated to be involved in online Rummy gambling and he has also borrowed loan from the bank for the said purpose.

3.In such view of the matter, we do not find any illegal detention involved and accordingly, the habeas petition stands closed. The second respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation.
