ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.05.2021 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) (ii) of TNP Act r/w 6 and 7 TNRS Rules Act 2000 in Crime No.189 of 2017 on the file of the respondent seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was in illegal possession of I.D.Arrack of 80 cans each containing 35 liters. Hence the law enforcing agency registered a case against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is a history sheeted rowdy (H.S.No.153 of 2014 ) and and there was 24 previous cases pending against the petitioner and there was a Goondas Proposal against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts of the case and the fact that there are 24 previous cases pending against the petitioner and there was a Goondas Proposal against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
