ORDER
(Heard through Video Conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to enlarge the petitioners on bail in the event of their arrest, pending investigation in Cr.No.not known of 2020, on the file of the respondent Police.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3. The petitioners apprehend arrest to the offence under Section 6(4) TNSC (RDCS) ORDER, 1982, 7(1)(a)(ii) EC Act for the possession of 8500 kgs PDS Rice without any valid permit.
4. Considering the huge quantity and previous antecedent of the first petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Anticipatory Bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 22.10.2020 sni/sbn Index: Yes/No 2/4
