This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.497 of 2014 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the proceedings emanating from the FIR registered in Crime No.497 of 2014 on the file of the 1st respondent police against the petitioners herein.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the charge sheet is filed in C.C.No.1003 of 2017 and the petitioner has already been acquitted on 23.01.2018. Hence, the prayer as such sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
