(Heard through Video Conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No.919 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. The petition for anticipatory bail filed by the 6th accused/petitioner apprehending the arrest by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 336, 427, 392, 397, 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.919 of 2020.
4. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant was robbed of Rs.50,000/- at knife point on 01.08.2020 at about 10.30 hrs, near Panjaali amman koil, Arumbakkam.
5. According to the F.I.R. given by Jothi (defacto complainant), the petitioner along with 5 other accused, have restrained him by walking along the road and under the theft of life, they have robbed Rs.50,000/- from him. He has named the persons involved in the offence.
6. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that four of the accused were arrested and A4 has been detained under goondas (Act14/1982). The petitioner herein is having two previous case of similar nature. 2/4
7. Taking note of the objections by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 22.10.2020 sni Index: Yes/No To 1.The Inspector of Police K-8, Arumbakkam Police Station, Chennai.
