On 14.12.2022, CRP.No.1995 of 2019 and A.S.No.87 of 2019 were listed together and on that day by way of a common order First Appeal in A.S.No.87 of 2019 was dismissed and Civil Revision Petition in CRP.No.1995 of 2019 was also dismissed. Further the trial Court was directed to complete the trial in O.S.No.136 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Now, since both A.S.No.87 of 2019 and CRP.No.1995 of 2019 were decided by a common order, today both the items have been listed. However, since extension of time to complete the trial in O.S.No.136 of 2017 is sought, this order is passed only in CRP.No.1995 of 2019.

2. This Civil Revision Petition has been listed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Ist Additional District Judge, Salem, in D.No.8923/IADJ/2023 dated 20.09.2023.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the civil revision petition this Court by an order dated 14.12.2022, directed the trial Court to complete the trial, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, the learned Ist Additional District Judge, Salem has sent communication vide D.No.8923/IADJ/2023 dated 20.09.2023 narrating the sequence of proceedings in O.S.No.136 of 2017 and sought further period of six months time to complete the trial in the said case.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant six months time to complete the trial in O.S.No.136 of 2017 from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 31.10.2023 dpq To
