This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 28.09.2018, which was received by the respondents and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has already given a complaint on 02.02.2017 against Mr.P.Rajendran, S/o.Mr.Palaniappan, who is the former Chairman of Chinnasalem Panchayat Union Council at Villupuram District and also against one Radha and one Yuvaraj. Based on the earlier complaint dated 02.02.2017 preliminary enquiry has been initiated against the suspected persons in PE.75/2017/RDP/VPM. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

He would further submit that apart from the other allegations there are also allegations against the suspected persons for having acquired assets disproportionate to their known source of income and that the respondents are collecting required materials from the concerned Registration Offices. He would further submit that based on the result of the Preliminary Enquiry, the respondents will proceed in accordance with law.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. The respondents are directed to conduct the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.
